Utheemu Ganduvaru, where Mohamed Thakurufaanu lived in the 16th century. told to be his family's palace, Utheem Ganduvaru, is historical sites in the Maldives. Mohamed thakurufaan aka. Don Bandaarain is considered to be the National hero for liberating Maldives from 15 years of Portuguese rule, in 1573.
